Do you feel as though your fashion game isn’t as strong as it could be? Maybe you just want to make sure that you are not compromising your outfit by trying too hard. Either way, there are things you can do to look better, and it all starts with making a few simple changes.

Accessorise

The first thing you need to do is accessorize. Accessories can change any outfit in just a few seconds and it is a great way for you to feel more in control of your style. You can try and add a watch, necklace or even a pair of earrings if you want. If you look around and don’t feel like you have many accessories to play around with then one thing you can do is invest in swiss watches. When you do, you will have something timeless that will work with just about any outfit you have.

Layer your Clothing

If you can layer your clothing then this will work in your favor. Simply layer your favorite clothing items and you will soon see what a difference this makes to your look. You can pair a blazer with a basic denim shirt or you can opt for a statement necklace over a sweatshirt. Either way, layering is a fantastic way for you to add instant depth to your outfit, and it gives you the chance to really make your favorite pieces work for you.

Add some Colour

So many people make the mistake of not adding color where they should. If you look at your closet right now and see one tone, and one tone only then you should be trying to make a change here. Don’t be afraid to branch out of your comfort zone a little either. It may be that you try to add some darker tones if all of your clothes are light. If you have a lot of black clothes, then adding something white is one of the best ways for you to change things up quickly.

Try Different Textures

Different textures help to add a lot of instant depth to your outfit. Whether you are trying to mix textures that you normally wear for different seasons, or whether you decide to opt for something simple, it’s safe to say that textures help you appear more stylish. Consider adding a denim shirt to your closet instead of opting for a cotton one, or change your denim jeans for some cargo pants. Little things like this help you to make the biggest difference to your fashion wardrobe and it also helps your outfit to pop more.

Don’t be tempted to limit yourself to light colors in summer and darker clothes in fall either. Mix it up and take clothes that are suited to one season and bundle them with the clothes you have for another. If you can do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to get the result you are going for, especially if you feel boxed in with your current wardrobe.
