After a short break, we are officially back with our popular STYLISH HOTELS series! As travelling has never been more complicated than in 2020, we truly appreciated every opportunity to discover new places and to be able to bring our readers much-awaited travel content and live Instastories from fashionable hotels, restaurants, and local tourist attractions.
Kimpton Hotels have been on our radar for a while now and our September trip to Amsterdam was an excellent opportunity to finally spend a couple of nights in their first European boutique hotel.
Elegant Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam, located in the heart of the city, celebrates Dutch design, art, culture, and vibrant urban energy. By inviting guests to live like locals and providing a personal sanctuary where everyone can find or create their own comfortable way to relax, the hotel has successfully established its own unique character and style.
Let us take you for a visual journey through an eclectic mix of colours, textures, and patterns...

Room 535 was situated at the end of the corridor and thanks to the fact that it was facing the courtyard, it remained super quiet during the day and at night as well. Comfortable bed, large windows, photography books, coffee & tea amenities (Nespresso machine!), yoga mat, and stylish sitting area were some of our favourite features of the room.
There was also a very useful makeup mirror located on the desk, close to the window, so getting ready in the morning was super easy and fun. You could have a cup of coffee and listen to the music while doing your makeup in natural daylight - every makeup artist would agree that there is nothing better than this!

Everything You Need
It is worth noticing that Kimpton De Witt Hotel offers every possible amenity you can imagine: 24-hour room service, complimentary bikes, and 24-hour fitness centre to name just a few. The hotel is pet friendly (no extra charge for your furry friend, no matter size or weight).
It's a perfect destination for both business and leisure stays. Excellent attention to detail makes this hotel one of our favourite properties in Amsterdam and we can't wait to go back!

Always Travel In Style
"Amsterdam is a hot global destination for many reasons. Along with its warm diversity, the Dutch capital also presents a robust dose of cultural and artistic savvy. The Golden Age lives on through a modern lens. From our central Kimpton De Witt address, there's something for everyone. For outdoor lovers, biking and walking are rites of passage and in the spring, vibrant tulips are in full bloom and ready for a close up. Art lovers will feast their eyes on contemporary Dutch works and famed masterpieces by native Old Masters such as Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt van Rijn and Jan Steen. History connoisseurs will revel in the wealth of monumental landmarks like the Anne Frank House and Van Gogh Museum. Culinary and drink enthusiasts will devour craft breweries, hip cafés, amazing boutique shopping and discerning fine dining. Trust us, once you've explored the nooks and crannies of these cobblestone streets and concentric canals, you won't want to leave." - Source: Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam
