As our latest article featuring fashion & travel trips for men was really popular, we decided to bring you some more menswear trends. This time, we will be focusing on our favourite Fall/Winter shoe trends and also introducing you to a really interesting online boutique - Chamaripa.
"For many men, the winter is full of travel with meetings taking place in some of the biggest cities in the world. Although it can be tempting to travel wearing comfortable clothing, it is important that you don’t compromise your style when you hop on that train or plane."
Leather jackets and hiking boots - what a great combo! If you're going to make one investment this fall,
make it a pair of high quality hiking boots. (Photo courtesy of Chamaripa)
Time in the Office
If you are into elegant, stylish look with a twist, this season is for you! Pinstripe suits made notable appearances at Alexander McQueen, Maison Marginal, and Versace. The look is far from traditional this season, so in fact you will be better off wearing it after hours.
"Once resigned to Savile Row suits and city attire, pinstripes emerged as a preeminent theme for fall/winter 2018, but not as we know them. Alexander McQueen, John Lawrence Sullivan and Alex Mullins all revisited the sartorial stalwart with varying degrees of slouch rather that stiffness, while at Off/White, Virgil Abloh captured the transition stage between formal and laissez-faire, with pinstripes in his collection coined “Business Casual”, - says The Guardian in their fall trend report.

You can wear a pinstripe suit with elegant dress shoes (see below) or go for a more relaxed option and opt for a pair of comfortable sneakers or hiking boots. When it comes to mixing formal and casual clothes this season, anything goes!

"Full tracksuits, lux-y shell suits, bucket hats and oversized fugly sneakers. It's all about the Nineties," - says GQ magazine and we couldn't agree more.
Streetwear trend has been growing in popularity all over the world and is still going really strong. This season, many designers showed layered silhouettes mixing outerwear, urban wear and activewear (Y-3, Demna Gvasalia, Balenziaga, Vetements) and included comfortable hoodies in their collections (Dolce & Gabbana, see below).

"The concept of sportswear on the catwalk is hardly anything new. From ugly dad trainers to short shorts and track jackets, outdoor-centric styles have staked a steady place within the fashion fold." - Independent
When talking about this trends, we can't forget about the most important component: sneakers. Have at this look this colourful winter look shown by Versace:

Sneakers this season come in a large variety of styles and colours. To brighten up dull fall days, we highly recommend wearing bold colours and experimenting with mixing streetwear clothes with something more formal. After all, fashion should always be fun!
