- Inexmoda and Fashion Snoops come together to expand their knowledge and experience in Latin America Inexmoda's highest purpose is to connect knowledge to make the Fashion System vibrate, and it will continue to do so through the Institute's alliance with Fashion Snoops.
- Fashion Snoops, a New York-based trend forecasting platform, decided to connect with Inexmoda to achieve a broader scope in countries like Colombia and Ecuador from the experience and knowledge that characterize both organisations.
- Three fashion trends that will be present in the Spring-Summer 2018 season, according to Fashion Snoops’ investigations.
January 2018 - During the 30th edition of Colombiatex de las Américas, the alliance between Inexmoda and Fashion Snoops was officially launched. This is a union that will allow Inexmoda to expand its horizons and connect with other industries, in this way succeeding in continuing to echo its higher purpose: to connect knowledge to make the Fashion System vibrate.
Fashion Snoops, a trend forecasting platform based in New York, is made up of a team of 50 experts and 100 international analysts who are in charge of continually updating the online tools, where clients can access information about feminine, masculine, youth, denim, girls, boys, accessories, home and beauty markets for each season.

In this way the companies’ design teams turn Fashion Snoops into an extension of their work, helping them to make smart choices that will positively impact sales. It inspires them to venture into new product categories and widen the service portfolio. It gives them a holistic view of the Fashion System, obtaining different perspectives from international experts that contribute to the creative process. Companies such as Reebok, H&M, Victoria’s Secret, Revlon, Conair, Hasbro, Toyota, among others, have witnessed the benefits that the platform provides from its role as clients.
Fashion Snoops’ identification of trends begins with a prior 24-month investigative process, where Macrotrends are identified and analyzed – cultural and social movements that are impacting the world, and therefore the consumers-; and also MacroColor, a color forecast selected by the North American team and the well-known company Pantone, who define them according to findings in Macrotrends.
18 months later the forecasts begin to be confirmed and validated, drawing from the most influential fashion concepts, runways and tradeshows, which adjust the analysis and as a result produce the trends that the markets will present. The information links from beginning to end, facilitating the creative process and the understanding of how a trend arises and how it becomes tangible in a product.
Now Inexmoda joins the team, contributing to the whole process from its knowledge.

Inexmoda - Fashion Snoops
The synergy between both companies will allow for new international outreach to continue covering the Latin American market in large part, marketing the product which will be led by Inexmoda with the support of Fashion Snoops.
“The 30 years that Inexmoda has been working for the Clothing Design Industry prove our ample knowledge of the Latin American market. This is one of the reasons why we made this alliance, which achieves some important trend contents in its online platform. These are useful so that the design teams will reduce decision-making risks in the business or with the products. Besides, they understand the behavior and changes of the consumer, information which gives supplies to a brand to be considered in their developments,” said Sebastián Díez, Marketing Director at Inexmoda.

Ada Gómez, Fashion Snoops’ director of Development for Latin America, assured that one of the benefits that this alliance brings for the North American company is “the creation of a link between Latin America and New York. Fashion Snoops has been in Latin America for several years, but now with Inexmoda, who understands perfectly the Colombian and Ecuadorian client, the main countries that we wish to conquer, plus the knowledge and depth that they have in the market, will be the perfect combination for us to keep growing in the region.”
In this way, during the first day of the Tradeshow, the launch of the partnership between Inexmoda – Fashion Snoops was formalized, activating the fashion component of Colombiatex de las Américas which was also accompanied by other events such as the Lycra®/Invista and Brazil fashion parades, with Brazil as the guest country.
