What is Floating?

Float therapy is an extraordinary experience combining the healing benefits of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with meditation, restoring both the body and the mind. It is a simple way to achieve deep relaxation and wellness in a float tank (also known as sensory deprivation or isolation tank).

Epsom salt is a natural exfoliant and anti-inflammatory remedy that can be used to treat dry skin, muscle aches, and even to fight some internal health issues. The profound relaxation state achieved allows the body to recover from stress, reduce pain, and improve blood circulation.

"The sulfates in Epsom salt assist the body in flushing out toxins and providing a heavy metal detox from the body’s cells, hence lowering the internal accumulation of harmful substances. Human skin is a highly porous membrane; by adding minerals like magnesium and sulfate to your bathwater, it triggers a process called reverse osmosis, which actually pulls salt out of your body and harmful toxins along with it." - Draxe.com

Float In Style

Stylish treatment rooms at H2O Float Spa have heated floors, a private shower, and in-tub lights which you can turn on or off during your Float. All rooms are light and sound-insulated allowing you to truly unwind and relax.

The temperature of the water and air are maintained at a constant 34 degrees Celsius which makes it a perfect place to visit during winter time. After your first Float you will not only feel happier, lighter, healthier, more positive, and more confident, but also increase your sensory awareness for several days (tried & tested!).

What's even better, H2O Float Spa offers several packages allowing you to combine Floating with a massage treatment. It is a great way to enhance the benefits of your float therapy.

DID YOU KNOW?

One hour of Floating can create the same restorative effect as approximately three to four hours of deep sleep.
