In his opening speech, Justin Huang, President of the TFF, emphasised the importance of Taiwan's fashion industry and its growing international recognition. He also expressed a desire to turn Taipei into Asia's fashion capital by promoting Taiwanese brands and designers to the foreign press and buyers and introducing international resources into Taiwan at the same time.

Athena Chuang
"For Athena Chuang, each collection is a unique story, like different movies or novels, has its own roles, atmosphere and scent. With this idea, Athena always tries to explore new combination of materials, new colour palette and new silhouette according to the very theme of each collection. Yet as a brand, an oriental elegance and unique femininity, continue through out her collections, along with the fun of mixing contrast elements, materials and ideas." - notjustalabel.com
