How To Stay Fit On A Vacation

Going away on a holiday doesn't have to mean ditching your fitness routine entirely. Even if you can't commit to a full-on workout, the next time you're packing for a weekend getaway, stow resistance bands into that suitcase. They're light, portable and perfect for a quick strength training session in your room to stay fit and toned even while on vacation.

Lateral Raises

1) Hold the loose end of the resistance band in one hand while standing on top of it.

2) Raise your arm out to the side till you reach shoulder level and your elbows are fully extended.

3) Pause, and slowly lower your arm back to starting point.

4) Repeat 12 times and switch sides.

1) Stand on top of your resistance band with your feet one shoulder width apart and bending forward at the waist.

2) Hold your resistance band and pull back until your arms are fully extended and triceps are engaged.

3) Pause, before slowly releasing back to your starting position.

4) Repeat.
