Our trip to Taipei last year was an excellent opportunity to discover some of the hottest fashion and shopping trends. The vibrant capital of Taiwan is one of the most inspiring Asian cities. Modern, friendly, and full of various attractions and fun activities, Taipei is a constant source of inspiration and won't disappoint any travellers looking for a unique and trendy destination.

DOUCHANGLEE is a well-known Taiwanese brand founded by designers Stephane Dou and Changlee Yugin in 1995. Today, they run 5 boutiques and are present in 9 department stores across Taiwan. Their beautifully designed, industrial concept store [wum] is located at No. 1, Lane 16, Section 2, Zhōngshān North Rd in Zhongshan District, Taipei. Don't miss it!

4. Black & White Stripes

CRYSTAL WANG is a newly established designer brand based in Taipei. Launched by a local fashion celebrity, Crystal Wang, the brand offers stylish ready-to-wear at affordable prices. A sophisticated mix of Western and Oriental influences, simple silhouettes and creative use of colour provide individuality for every woman.
Many Taiwanese stylists, bloggers, and celebrities have since become loyal customers making CRYSTAL WANG one of the most promising brands on the market.
5. Blue Crush
One of the international designers available at Onefifteen | Da'an concept store
Onefifteen (初衣食午) is a concept store carrying both local and international designers. Make sure you check out their amazing Cafe which is the best illustration of Onefifteen's "live with beauty" philosophy.

6. Bird Motifs

bLender, a funky Taiwanese brand, has currently 5 stores in Taiwan (including one in Taipei). They carry two different lines for Spring/Summer 2016: Modern Style designed by Buggy Lee and Casual Style designed by Rabaca Wang. bLender offers trendy, casual clothes featuring interesting details and diverse colour palette.
The pink bird design (pictured above) was created by a Taiwanese model Candy Wang.

7. Trendy Caps / Hats / Hair Accessories

Shilin Night Market, located in the Shilin District of Taipei, is often considered to be the largest and most famous night market in the city. You can find everything here: from food vendors and small restaurants to numerous street stalls and trendy boutiques selling clothes and accessories. It's a fun place to hang out with friends in the evening!
