BIRKS UNVEILS NEW BREITLING CHRONOMAT 44 JET TEAM WATCH WITH A COCKTAIL CELEBRATION AT THE SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, TORONTO

TORONTO, September 10, 2015 – Birks, Canada’s leading prestige jeweller since 1879 held a celebration on Wednesday, September 9 in partnership with the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto in the luxurious Lobby Lounge at the Champagne Wall. The "It’s Time to Celebrate" cocktail reception was to mark the hotel’s third year anniversary and the debut of the exclusive Breitling Chronomat 44 Jet Team American Tour timepiece.

Guests got the opportunity to meet the Breitling Jet Team, the largest civilian aerobatic team in the world, and view the limited edition of the Breitling Chronomat 44. The evening was attended by over 200 VIP guests, including Birks and Shangri-La clients, influencers and media representatives. Guests were treated to Champagne from Perrier Jouët and fabulous hors d’oeuvres from executive chef Damon Campbell.
