MIRTO PRESENTS IN MFSHOW MEN THEIR PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO
THE COLOUR BLUE

MADRID, July 8th, 2015 - A fashion collection for the summer is full of different colours and textures. The MIRTO collection for next season is as well. However, the Madrid brand has decided to play especially with the colour blue and all the varieties of its shades and hues, to celebrate the usability and versatility of their garments on the catwalk. The lighter blue represents the daytime coolness of a summer morning, the water, the sea and the sky above the city. The darker blue may well represent the afternoon and night of the sunny season. From the shirt, to the bermudas, including a polo shirt, a jacket, a suit, a tie or PJs, all can be interpreted in many colours.

MIRTO draws inspiration for their fashion show in the chromatic variations and iterations of the colour blue. Many more colours sneak in every summer in the MIRTO collections and men’s wardrobes, but the colour blue always remains the King colour.

For the summer of the MIRTO man the shirt is always the iconic garment, designed to be worn any place, any time. The flagship shirts of the house, of fine cotton for dress wear, are also presented with floral prints, motifs and geometric designs and always over a base coloured in blue, together with knit wear garments washed and tinted in indigo (and prepared to age in a way that makes them unique to each one).

The summer trousers and jackets are built over bases of apparently enriched denim and cotton. The suits in lightweight blends of cotton, cool wool and linen, inspired in indigo hues with window-pane designs. All over bases or fabrics with textures or micro motifs. They are accompanied by jackets in cotton with regatta stripes for a look Riviera or resort style.

MIRTO always highlights also as a trend white, the colour par excellence of the shirt and the best natural combination for a palette of deep blue. In white we see guayashirts (+the guayabera shirt reinvented), as well as summery poleras in linen of a retro style, and the party shirts reinterpreted for the summer, or why not wear a tuxedo shirt with a Mao collar to a beach party?

In the fashion show will be represented sport outerwear, with light parkas and windbreakers with a nautical inspiration, and also suitable for urban life. It complements with all the brand’s accessories: ties, braces, belts and scarves, dipped in indigo shades. And along with this, the essential PJs, robes and homewear garments with wide stripes and prints in "blue" hues.

A cool and commercial collection, which reinterprets the modernity of the classic styles, with a palette dominated by blue. Because #WeLoveBlue.
