Jury nominates the Top 60 from 325 Applications
WILD CARD VOTING for 3 additional spots in the Finale started
Frankfurt, April 1 - The Frankfurt STYLE AWARD has reached its first high point: this year’s international Expert Jury has nominated their 60 favorite designs and was delighted by the international spectrum of applications. The distinctiveness of each concept and the diverse expressions of style & design reflect the many nationalities participating in this year’s Contest.
“With the MOTTO 2015 PIONEERING DESTINY, the Contest is countering recent retro mania. Instead, it places its confidence in the pioneering spirit of a generation that must withstand daily judgment based on „likes“ and „non-likes,“ said Jury Member Katrin Kemper, owner of the fashion and lifestyle agency KK Marketing Services.
325 applications from 82 fashion schools located in 31 countries from all continents were evaluated. Now, the selected upcoming designers are invited to realize their concept ideas. At the grand Finale and glamorous Award Ceremony on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at the Fraport-Forum in Frankfurt Airport, all 60 creations will be shown during a one-of-a-kind fashion show in front of 450 invited guests.

The Frankfurt STYLE AWARD – International Talent Contest for Fashion & Design
Since 2008, the contest has developed into an International Talent and Career Platform that brings fashion & design talents from all over the world to Frankfurt and connects them with experts from education, the media, economy and trade. The Frankfurt STYLE AWARD Gala 2014 made it clear: Frankfurt can do fashion!
The tremendous media coverage emphasized the breakthrough. The various contacts established with the first partner country France have been fruitful. In partnership with the Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S, the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD presented its collections at one of the largest international textile trade fairs, Texworld & Apparel Sourcing Paris. With support from the City of Frankfurt am Main, the patron of the International Talent Contest, and the Fraport AG, the contest’s most important partner, the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD has grown to a sustainable institution in the Main metropolis that provides international talent support to upcoming designers. The Frankfurt Airport, Europe’s largest international hub and starting point for designers from all over the world, and the new Fraport Forum, the event location for the Finale, create an impressive stage for the Grand Gala.
