A lot of LOVE, PEACE and JOY to all Fashion Studio Magazine readers!

The start of the Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important date in the Chinese calendar. The festival is also celebrated widely by Asian communities all over the world.

The Year of the Goat begins on February 19 this year. Dinners, parades, dragon dances, reunions and gift exchanges are all part of Chinese New Year celebrations. The final day, Day 15, sees the Lantern Festival, where red Chinese lanterns are released into the sky.
