FRANKFURT, GERMANY - Frankfurt can do fashion. Under the auspices of Markus Frank and the patronage of Sophie Laszlo, General Consul of France in Frankfurt, 60 young fashion designers from all over the world and over 450 fashion enthusiasts celebrated the Finale of this year’s International Contest in Fashion & Design - the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD. The finalists’ creations were worn by upcoming models on the impressive runway in the new FRAPORT FORUM at the Frankfurt Airport. The motto fits perfectly: UNITED DIVERSITY.

“Every single one of our finalists cannot wait for their first appearance in Frankfurt. Many are travelling from far away. They are dreaming of their grand debut in the international metropolis Frankfurt and in front of a large audience”- said Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, Founder of the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD. “We are very proud of the overwhelming response we received to our first ever international announcement. We are excited to have the opportunity to show the resulting UNITED DIVERSITY COLLECTION so fabulously at Frankfurt’s “Gateway to the World,” Frankfurt Airport.”

Frankfurt proved that it knows how to celebrate fashion. With 450 guests and almost 100 young talents (designers, models and make-up artists), the FRAPORT FORUM was completely booked. The program for the evening started with a runway show of 58 creations and ended with the Award Ceremony, all led by Anke Seeling, a familiar face in the Frankfurt Airport and formerly on international catwalks.
