Moscow launches Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia with 90 names in the show schedule which includes top Russian model Natalia Vodianova and Russia Miss Universe Oksana Fedorova
MOSCOW - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has always been aiming at supporting and promoting Russian fashion. As always, most prominent Russian brands will be showing their Spring-Summer collections. Among them: SLAVA ZAITSEV, Alena Akhmadullina, Dasha Gauser, Ester Abner, VIVA VOX, PIROSMANI, IGOR GULYAEV, BIRYUKOV, Yasya Minochkina and many others. Moreover, famous Russian Miss Universe Oksana Fedorova will present her first pret-a-porter collection on MBFW Russia. Also, top Russian model and charity activist Natalia Vodianova will launch special collaboration together with well-known Russian brand ZARINA.
This season MBFW Russia is once again becoming a place where Russian fashion community meets world fashion leaders. In the previous seasons, such designers and brands as Vivienne Westwood (UK), Catherine Malandrino (USA), Costume National (Italy), JC de Castelbajac (France), Frankie Morello (Italy) have participated, but this year the catwalks of Manege are welcoming a whole constellation of well-known international brands.

This time Tony Ward pret-a-porter world premiere is going to be the key element of international program of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Tony Ward, who is famous for his couture collections, used to work with Lanvin, Dior, Chloe and a few other well-known fashion houses prior to creating his eponymous brand. In frames of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia the designer will introduce his pret-a-porter collection to the world.
The Spanish designer Juanjo Oliva is another remarkable guest of MBFW Russia. He is constantly taking part in main world Fashion weeks and has won a plenty of prestigious awards. Among them an award from L´Oréal for the best autumn-winter collection at the Fashion week in Madrid, Prix d´Excellence Marie-Claire International (2005) as the best young designer, the Best Designer of Spain award (2006) and some others.
The upcoming season of MBFW Russia will surprise its guests with a presentation of an exclusive fragrance from one of the greatest contemporary perfumers, Christophe Laudamiel, the creator of perfumes for Burberry, Abercrombie & Fitch, Estee Lauder, Ralph Lauren and many other brands. This fall Christophe Laudamiel has invented two new aromas exclusively for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia which he will be presenting to the guests of Fashion week.

The 29th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia takes place in Moscow from 22nd to 26th October. Over 70 participants (including both popular names of Russian and international fashion industry and young talents) will show their collections of Spring-Summer 2015 within the schedule of the largest Fashion Week of Eastern Europe. The main venue of the event is traditionally the Central Exhibition Hall Manege.
