TORONTO - Fashion Studio Magazine prepared a couple of ideas how to spend October 2014 in style. Toronto has a lot to offer any time of the year. Have fun!
1. Visit a Spa
Earlier this year Fashion Studio Magazine visited one of the most fashionable spas in Toronto - Spa My Blend by Clarins at The Ritz-Carlton.
This one-of-a-kind oasis in the heart of downtown is a perfect place to escape the end-of-summer blues. Stay tuned for our review of the amazing HydraFacial treatment which restores youthful, healthy skin and gives you a glowing complexion just after one session...
2. Take Part in Startup Fashion Week

Startup Fashion Week is the World’s ONLY Fashion Week to focus on Fashion, Technology and Business with an emphasis to provide support and awareness for emerging entrepreneurs in Fashion Design and Digital Fashion Startups. This extraordinary event is a celebration of entrepreneurship, mentorship and most of all an opportunity to pioneer the convergence of Fashion and Technology in Canada.
Startup Fashion Week is planning an unforgettable event for Oct. 7-9 2014 in Toronto. Save these dates!
3. Visit Korea Town

Since the 1970s, the stretch of Bloor Street between Bathurst and Christie streets has been ‘Korea Town’, a centre for people of Korean descent. Learn about the history, culture, and distinctive immigration experience of the Korean community as you walk past the church, community organizations, and businesses that have contributed to the transformation of this area.
Don't forget to grab lunch at one of the numerous cafes and restaurants that dot the area!
4. Try Rollerblading

Rollerblading is becoming more and more popular in Toronto. Our favourite trails include Martin Goodman Trail and Toronto Islands which provide a great, refreshing escape from downtown with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario on one side, and the city skyline on the other (see the picture above). There is probably no better way to spend your weekends before the weather gets cold!
5. Take up a New Hobby

In case you haven't heard it yet, making your own clothing has become very fashionable! The Make Den studio, founded in 2010 by Irene Stickney, offers sewing and design classes, workshops, and camps for all levels, including classes for specific types of garments, quilting, natural dying and screen printing. Highly recommended!
6. Go Shopping

Toronto's shopping scene has grown during the last couple of years. Vogue magazine has just named Queen Street West the second-hippest district in the world. “Toronto is currently enjoying newfound prominence – and desirability – amongst globe-trotting tastemakers,” Vogue’s Nick Remsen writes on the magazine’s website.
Our favourite shopping areas include stylish Yorkville and Toronto Eaton Centre where you can find pretty much everything under one roof.
Don't forget to visit Bloor Street West for up-and-coming independent fashion boutiques, lingerie, jewellery and accessories stores.
7. Dance the Night Away
