OTTAWA - Hair stylists and makeup artists did an amazing job during the first two days of Ottawa Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014-15. All looks were fresh and creative, supporting the designers' visions and enhancing the impact of the runway shows. Fashion Studio Magazine went backstage to bring you a quick glimpse of what was happening before Serendipity and Sukhoo Sukhoo shows.

The first makeup look was cute and girly. It reminded us of a Japanese doll-like look: fair skin, huge eyes, pink cheeks, and bright lips with the colour applied only in the middle. It matched the feminine Serendipity designs perfectly.

The second look, created for Ottawa-based Sukhoo Sukhoo, was more dramatic and edgy. All models had their hair tied on top of their heads, which made them look even taller. Their faces were covered in a delicate, see-through fabric, giving them an unearthly look. The futuristic makeup featured long eyelashes and dark, eye-catching lips.

And that's exactly what you want to see on the runway -  a unique spectacle and a visual feast for the eyes. Well done!
