EXPRESS HAS SPOKEN:
Express Fashion’s S/S 2014 collection preview
TORONTO - On Monday, November 25th The Spoke Club acted as a spokesperson - correction: spokesplace - to Express Fashion’s preview of its upcoming Spring Summer Collection and the message it was speaking out to the crowd was that tonight’s preview was going to be as relaxed as its surroundings, what with its easy finger foods, chilled wine, and fun chitchat.
In this youthful collection of undemanding separates in gentle pastels, flashy brights, and classic black and whites, there were hints of sporty with metallic tennis shorts and a raglan long sleeved zip up; of chic with a feminine pant suit in pastel pink; of laid-back with lax sweaters and short shorts; of flirty with polka dots, fun skirts and daring crop tops; of bohemian with flowy blouses; of edgy in black and white striped pants, and of funky with interesting clutches and vivid coloured shoulder bags.

For our male counterparts, their racks boasted casual, preppy and just plain old relaxed looks with collared shirts in a rainbow of colours, stripes and patterns, equally colourful boat shorts and tees, sexy ties and bowties, and slick versatile jackets to either dress up or dress down a look.
With a brand like Express, versatility is key - something for the everyday, the every occasion, and the every woman. They didn’t reinvent the wheel with this line-up, but not everyone wants reinvention. Sometimes customers want the comfort of a standard blouse or pant with a little twist. They want what has been tried, tested and true and Express meets this three tiered approach… at a reasonable price at that.
