Belarus Fashion Week Collective Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia
MOSCOW - The biggest fashion event in Russia and Eastern Europe - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia - opened on Monday in Moscow with the collection of 75 years old Slava Zaitsev, named the Godfather of Russian Fashion.
October 25th till 31st, 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia showcased the Spring-Summer 2014 collections of 70 designers from Russia, UK, Japan, Israel. The event was held in the best Moscow's historical venue Manege (Manezhnaya Square,1), next to Kremlin. October 31, Slava Zaitsev’s Fashion Festival was held under Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia support in AFIMALL City, celebrating 75th anniversary of famous Russian designer.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia presented Spring-Summer collections of such Russian designers as: Alena Akhmadullina, Tatyana Parfionova, Chapurin, BEssARION, Igor Gulyaev, Dasha Gauser, MASHA KRAVTSOVA, Julia Dalakian, RUBAN, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, POUSTOVIT, BIRYUKOV, Viva Vox, Lena Tsokalenko, TEGIN, Ester Abner, ZARINA, Laroom, MARI AXEL, Olga Brovkina, Julia Nikolaeva, ELENA SOUPROUN, Georgy Rushev, RIA KEBURIA, Maroussia Zaitseva, MASTERPEACE by Evgenia Linovich, GOGA NIKABADZE, Yanina Vekhteva and many others.
This year Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia launched a unique online-retail project in cooperation with major platform www.eBay.com. For the first time ever the outfits of Russian designers were easy to buy online using Android, iPhone and iPad mobile App eBay Fashion. Fashionistas from Russia and other countries got the exclusive access to selected outfits of new collections during online broadcasting within Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Internet users could click and buy right from the fashion week's catwalk online and have the items delivered in 4-6 weeks, even months before these SS14 collections reach the shops. “The support of Russian fashion designers is our priority. Participation in this event provides designers with new opportunities. The only issue is how to use these opportunities in a right way”, said Alexander Shumsky, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russian President.
On October 26 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia highlighted Miss Universe international final event which is scheduled on November 9 in Moscow. British couture designer Tony Ward showcased his new collection on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia having finalists of Miss Universe as models in the show. Tony Ward used to work with Lanvin, Dior and Chloe before launching his own brand. His special show was visited by all 90 participants of international competition Miss Universe 2013, which will take place in Moscow for the first time. (November 9, Crocus City Hall). Current Miss Universe Olivia Culpo was opening and closing the show.
