Day 1

COPENHAGEN - The most important event in Danish fashion calendar, Copenhagen Fashion Week, kicked off yesterday. Fashion Studio Magazine prepared a short summary of the first day of the event.
Margrethe-Skolen, Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion & Design, showed edgy and innovative designs on the first day of the fashion week. Asger Juel Larsen opted for simple sport chic mixed with bold patterns and a toned coloured palette. Gupdknappen presented feminine silhouettes in classic black & white and modern kimono-inspired dresses.
Selected catwalk highlights SS 2014: Margrethe-Skolen (1 & 5), WHIITE, Est. 1995 Benedikte
Utzon Wardrobe, Mark Kenly Domino Tan (Photos courtesy of CFW)
WHIITE mesmerised the audience with their simple and wearable designs suitable for many occasions. The brand proved once again that 'less is more'. We also couldn't get enough of bright colours and minimalist aesthetics at Mark Kenly Domino Tan.
Other highlights included pastel dresses by Est. 1995 Benedikte Utzon Wardrobe and exotic prints & patterns by Henrik Vibskov (our favourite show so far). Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for more catwalk news from Denmark!
