BARCELONA - Hotel Sixtytwo, a chic and elegant boutique hotel, is perfectly located in the centre of the city and only minutes away from the best shopping spots in Barcelona. Nearby attractions include Gaudi's famous buildings and vibrant Passeig de Gràcia, one of the major avenues in Barcelona and home to the most prestigious boutiques in the city.

Designed by the architects Josep Juanpere and María Vives, the hotel preserved its 1897 modernist façade and interiors and coupled them with designer furnishings. Tasteful touches courtesy of Moooi, Vitra, B&B and Philippe Starck give life to the hotel lobby and lounge area. The final effect is unique and truly mesmerizing: a fusion of minimalist design and oriental inspiration in a late XIX Century building.

Honesty Bar

The Sixtytwo Lounge is located on the first floor and, except the reception, it is the only common area in the hotel. It features an interesting concept - Honesty Bar - where guests can help themselves to all available beverages and mix their own cocktails. They are later required to report their own consumption in a special book. Honesty Bar is available from 11am to 5pm from Tuesday until Saturday, and from 11am to midnight Sundays and Mondays.

"We want our guests to feel at home, and that after a busy day of meetings, sightseeing or shopping on Passeig de Gracia, when they return to the hotel there are given a drink and they can relax. The Honesty Bar is a place where guests can find drinks and snacks which they can help themselves to. They only need to note down what they consume so they can be charged to their rooms."

The Sixtytwo Cocktail Lounge is open from 5pm until midnight from Tuesday to Saturday.

Modern Bathroom

Comfortable bathroom is spacious and well-designed. The contrasting character of dark and light colours adds elegance and sophistication to the room. Elements of neutral colour palette, modern facilities and great use of lighting create a spa-like ambience. There is a separate bath and shower area and the space is divided by sliding door. A large mirror is not only very useful, but also makes the bathroom look even bigger.

Stylish Bedroom

The decoration of the bedroom offers pure harmony of materials, shapes and colours. It features Asian elements such as dark wood window panels and elegant silk cushions. The neutral colour palette - mainly brown and grey tones - combined with intelligent lighting system create an intimate atmosphere that is relaxing and sensually stimulating.
