The Successful i.t Preview Party Sets Tone

For More Great Things to Come…

Nearly 500 invited guests came to celebrate, shop and party at the first multi-label i.t store in Southeast Asia!

SINGAPORE - Nearly 500 invited guests, comprising members of the media, celebrities and VIPs, attended the i.t Preview Party at Wisma Atria, #03-15, on Wednesday, 19 June, ahead of its public opening on 20 June. The 10,200 sq ft store was filled to capacity as eager guests turned fervent shoppers throughout the night; all thrilled to pick up great buys from the nine new-to-market, fashion-forward brands found under one roof. They are i.t in-house labels izzue, b + a b, 5cm, tout a coup, fingercroxx and Venilla Suite, as well as three imported Japanese brands, namely as know as de base, mysty woman and Pageboy.

A collaboration between I.T HK Group and Wing Tai Retail, the event was graced by Mr Sham Kar Wai, Founder and CEO of I.T Ltd and his wife, who specially flew in from Hong Kong and Mrs Helen Khoo, Executive Director of Wing Tai Retail Pte Ltd.

Hosted by 98.7FM deejay, Rosalyn Lee, it was a night where great shopping meets great company with many beautiful people and familiar faces from the fashion, music and entertainment industry, all turned up in full force to lend their support and preview the new store and brands.

Spotted amongst the fashionable crowd were well-known singers Joice Kwok, Kelly Poon and Derrick Hoh, host and ex-NMP Eunice Olsen, actress Jade Seah, 93.3FM deejay Xie Jiafa, celebrity make-up artist Clarence Lee.

Other notable guests included popular radio deejays Yasminne Cheng (Class 95FM), The Muttons (98.7FM), Lavinia Tan (LUSH 99.5FM), Denise Tan (Gold 90.5FM), Cheryl Miles and Shan Wee (91.3FM); Singapore’s top-notch fashion stylists Jeremy Tan, Vik Lim, Martin Wong, Trey Wong, Jerome Aswathi; iconic fashion influencers like Tracy Philips, Velda Tan, Beatrice Tan, Sofia Wakabayashi (3rd runner-up of Asia’s Next Top Model); fashion designers Wykkid Song, Joe Chia, Kenny Lim and Andrew Loh of Depression, Nic Wong of Nicholas, Afton Chen and Louis Koh of Reckless Ericka, and funny-men Hossan Leong, Chua En Lai and Sebastian Tan, to name a few.

Two beat-boxers kicked off the program, followed by a fashion presentation of the nine brands that showcased the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with the models’ hair done by The Atelier by Shunji Matsuo and make-up by YSL. After a speech by Mrs Khoo, the party and shopping frenzy began as guests were treated to a 20% storewide discount!

As Piper Heidsieck champagne, Kronenberg beer and Perrier natural mineral water flowed freely, guests also engaged themselves with the first-of-its-kind Insta-Prints in Singapore, where they were able to take photos, hashtag #itsgp and post on Instagram. Within a minute, the photo is printed out for them to take home as a keepsake.

Other engaging activities included two “Button Bars”, where guests can get customised button badges drawn on-the-spot by artists, and a “Braid Bar”, where guests can get their hair braided with different ribbons by hairstylists from The Atelier by Shunji Matsuo. Three handsome “Snack Studs”, dressed in crisp white and black, walked around the store to hand out retro sweet treats, in the form of kachang putih and gem biscuits, to guests.

The i.t Preview Party was a successful preamble to the public opening and many guests were seen leaving the i.t store with their bagful of purchases and a big bright smiles on their faces!

To celebrate this joyous occasion, from 20 - 23 June 2013, all shoppers who spend a minimum of $150 nett (usual minimum spend is S$250 nett) will become an i.t VIP member, and the first 200 shoppers on each day will receive a limited edition welcome gift* (Gifts include izzue tote bag, b + a b t-shirt, b+ab umbrella and tout à coup umbrella).

In addition, from 20 - 30 June 2013, Mastercard holders will enjoy a $30 voucher for their next purchase with $150 nett spent when they use their card for payment.
