SINGAPORE - Yesterday afternoon, JRunway officially celebrated the opening of its 3,600-square-foot store at Plaza Singapura. It is first Japanese multi-label store in Singapore.

The highlight of the event was a runway show, featuring Japanese models Taku and Tatsuya from JRunway's partner modelling agency, BARK in STYLE. Also making a special appearance on the runway was popular Gothic Lolita model, Misako Aoki, who is also an official "Kawaii Ambassador" for Japan. They were joined by fashion bloggers Qiu Qiu and Cheesie.

"JRunway is more then just a store, in fact, it is a very unique concept that we are introducing to Singapore - the first in ASEAN," - said Mr Kenji Chigira, CEO of Apparel Web Group. - "We are bringing the entire experience of Japanese culture here and creating a community space in which our customers can immerse themselves from the minute they walk through our doors."

The event was a unique opportunity to get more familiar with 22 leading Japanese apparel brands including EMODA, Ciaopanic, MOMOTARO JEANS, Atmos, WEGO and PUTUMAYO that are all available at JRunway store at Plaza Singapura.
