Royal couple in Singapore from Tuesday

SINGAPORE - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will make an official visit to Singapore from 11 to 13 September 2012.
Prince William and his wife Catherine will be here to mark Britain's Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. The royal couple will meet President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. President Tony Tan and Mrs Tan will also host the Duke and Duchess to a welcome dinner in honour of their visit.
The Duke and Duchess will visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens where an orchid will be named in their honour. They will also visit Gardens by the Bay, Queenstown HDB estate, the Rainbow Centre at Margaret Drive, Rolls-Royce Seletar campus and the Kranji War Cemetery and Memorial.
