This season’s LG FASHION WEEK saw an exciting runway debut from KORHANI Home on Tuesday, March 29th at 6pm. A big buzz with the city’s seasoned fashion crowd, the KORHANI show delivered a tasteful and extravagant presentation, highlighting a new spin on traditional home fashion. Creative Director, Kirsten Korhani and her husband, Moji Korhani, Owner KORHANI home, worked collaboratively in conceptualizing their vision for the LG FASHION WEEK stage; rugs have a new identity as sexy, trendy and affordable interior accessories.
The brand who signed on as a founding sponsor for the next three seasons, saw Toronto’s top media, taste makers and industry insiders mingle front row for the much anticipated show that revealed an innovative interpretation of the KORHANI home rugs as fashion wear. The show included show-stopping artistic pieces taking inspiration from fables like red riding hood, graphic body suits in KORHANI original prints, urban warrior and glamorous ‘50s influenced a la Mad Men pieces, bringing a provocative and original viewpoint to the Toronto fashion community.
Having piqued the interest of the industry’s finest, KORHANI Home is set to impress with new and exciting ventures, including expanding into furniture; seasonal business and their brands are available in 3000 stores such as Superstore, Loblaw, Walmart, Rona, Home Depot to name a few.
